Main Office on the first floor of the MCC building or in the OSA Main Office on the second floor of the MCC building by 5 p.m. on October 23rd. UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, SANTA BARBARA, SPRING QUARTER, 2006:
The newly instituted Office of the Student Advocate (OSA) has been established by the UCSB Associated Students in collaboration with the Office of the Vice Chancellor, Office of Student Judicial Affairs, and Office of Residential Life to facilitate and maintain the highest level of equity and fairness within the University of California, Santa Barbara disciplinary system. The Office of the Student Advocate offers free and confidential aid to students involved in University disciplinary processes by providing trained peer support, advice, and assistance to any student involved in a dispute with the University.
It is the goal of the Office of the Student Advocate to foster the University’s commitment to integrity in learning and student responsibility, providing peer based support for those students seeking assistance in the course of disciplinary proceedings.
